Amadeus maintains a strong focus on the exploration and the development of its numerous onshore oil and gas interests in Kansas, Louisiana, North Dakota, Oklahoma and Texas, USA.

To date, the Company has consistently achieved a good strike rate in the discovery and development of its oil and gas assets. In the 2008 financial year, Amadeus drilled 27 wells of which 22 have been completed for production.

Amadeus’ exploration portfolio continues to expand as the Company has sought to participate in high impact projects to compliment its diverse and well balanced production base.

The Company actively seeks to replace reserves, with an emphasised focus on discovering and defining new commercial oil and gas fields within its current acreage, which is in excess of 240,000 acres.

Several 3-D seismic surveys are planned for evaluation and completion in 2008 on acreage in Louisiana and Texas.

Up to a US$25 million has been budgeted for exploration and development in the 2009 financial year.
